I thought that the current version of DVD player would let you play these discs but all I could find through Apple tech support is that DVD player will let you play DVD Studio Pro burnt HD discs. I rented an HD-DVD from netflix (Van Helsing) and it wouldn't play on my Mac. If the phone sends Apple a cell tower ID and gets back a lat/lon of that tower (this is being done anonymously according to T&C's), what is the benefit to Apple of sending this log back to them? They've already got the information from the calls to their servers, no need to get it twice. Through my research in this field and all traffic analysis I have performed, not once have I seen this data traverse a network. This is data on the device that you as the customer purchased and unless they can show concrete evidence supporting this claim network traffic analysis of connections to Apple servers I rebut this claim in full. I quote:Īpple is gathering this data, but its clearly intentional, as the database is being restored across backups, and even device migrations.Īpple is not harvesting this data from your device. It says so quite clearly at the top of Levinson's article which this MR article links to ():Īnd to suggest otherwise is completely misrepresenting Apple. I'd say all the other data in an unencrypted backup is just as, if not more, valuable.Īnd if this same file isn't what is being sent to Apple, and you have information indicating this, then the summary of the article that makes it sound like it is should be fixed. I would agree, but there's a hell of a lot of other information in an iTunes backup (geotagged photos, passwords in clear text in plist files stored by 3rd party apps who don't bother to use the Keychain, SMS messages, call logs etc) and if you're worried about privacy you should already have ticked the 'Encrypt backups' box - that's all it takes. That would alleviate some of the privacy concerns at least. The device starts with a new DB when its new, no reason it shouldn't start over when you restore. If you go back to a city you visited several months back but have no data connection, the cached cell tower data could still be used to find your rough location. Cell towers don't move very often, cached data would very rarely be out of date. The data is nearly always useful to the phone. After a point, the data isn't useful to the phone. The file should be flushed/cleaned out after a certain time. Wildstyle, mechanical, insect, organic inspired. But it doesn't need to be as persistent and as precise as it is for that to work. I would describe my style as an aggressive style of lettering, letters that like to fight. I am very influenced by European graffiti and I am characterized by the good use of color The current writer is based very much on the effects and of more, I like the cleaning the fine cuts and that my name looks good although only using 2 tones. I am very interested in the structure of the letter. My name is drain I am from Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico I belong to the VRS crew. I get lost in shading letters to try and give them depth or roundness, I call my coloring Bubble Gum Pop! hahaha It reminds me of the bubblicious packages, lots of hot pinks and yellows… Thank Ya… JASPYR SOUL STYLE KREW I’ve been writing since the early/mid 90’s and loved the wildstyles and productions and whatnot, but what always really grabbed my attention was the bombing/throwie style, I just loved the way bubble letters looked and so in the last few years I stopped doing angular letters and really just focused on developing my own style of throwie letters…I’ve tried to keep them legible with a good flow to them so that they can stand on their own, which I’ve always thought was important in a piece…My thought has always been that you should be able to single out any letter in a piece and it should look good even by itself. Sometimes it’s an interpretation of life that on above or below, wildstyle maybe a complicated letter but when we see overall in other views, it can be a beautiful graffiti style. A characteristic of my graffiti is a set of lines that collide with each other, and have random proportion but when seen looks entirely and perfectly balanced between sides. I love wildstyle letters because it’s a unique combination of forms and I can express the letter how I want. I love wildstyle letters since 6 years ago and have since become wildstyler graffiti writer. My Name’s Themeaseven, and I have been writing for 12 years. We hit up some big names in the scene right now and asked them to talk a bit about their style. You guys really seemed to like our alphabet post last time so we’re coming back at ya with some more writers take on the 26 letters we know so well.
